EmpowHER is the girls AAU/USAV Club team under 904 Volleyball.
The 2023 - 2024 season will be EmpowHER's 4th and biggest season yet. We are excited for the year over year growth and looking forward to another successful club season. We will continue to build our athlete's up mentally and physically.
EMPOWHER LOCAL
EmpowHER will have tryouts for local teams and supplemental tryouts to fill remaining spots for Elite teams Oct 29 @ Beaches Chapel School. Recommended for 11U-14U only.

EMPOWHER Regional
EmpowHER will have tryouts for local teams and supplemental tryouts to fill remaining spots for Elite teams Oct 29 @ Beaches Chapel School. Regional is recommended as the local equivalent for the 15/16U age group.

EMPOWHER ELITE
We are excited to introduce the "EmpowHER Elite" program for the coming 2023-24 season. EmpowHER Elite teams will travel regionally exposing athletes to a higher level of competition. We anticipate having teams for the 12U, 13U, 14U and 15U age divisions in the coming season. Note, these teams are intended to be selective in nature and we will only have one EmpowHER Elite team per age group.
Being on a travel team is a commitment. Travel teams will practice one time a week in September and October and two times a week from November through April. Athletes are expected to make all practices unless excused as practice is critical to get the most growth out of both the individual and the team.
The goal of our EmpowHER Elite program is to encourage athletes to compete at their highest level of play. These teams will attend larger tournaments throughout the region exposing these teams to higher caliber volleyball for their respective age division. We will keep travel locations within a 3 hour drive radius and aim to stay as close to home as possible while keeping strong competition in mind. We realize travel volleyball is a commitment beyond the athlete themselves and respect the family unit as a whole.

- Six multi-day regional tournaments (Dec 9-10 @ Daytona, Jan 20-21 @ Jax, Feb 3-4 @ Daytona, Feb 17-19 @ Savannah, March 2-3 or 8-10 @ Orlando, Mar 29 - 31 @ Atlanta, Apr 13/14 @ Jax, May 18/19 @ Daytona)
- Practice 1x / week (Sept - Dec), 2x / week (Jan- April)
- Conditioning 1x / week (Feb-Apr)
- Team Option to extend additionally to compete at Nationals in June (team majority decision) – additional costs not included in club fees

904 Philosophy on Club and Mini Club
First and foremost each player will be provided the same opportunity to advance their game at practice. The best coaches will develop and grow their full bench as this is the best way for the full team to advance.
We do not travel for the sake of traveling but promote regional traveling for the teams that are ready for the next level of competition.
This is the mindset used by all 904 Volleyball coaches. Game time will not be guaranteed to all players for all games. Instead our coaches will put the best team on the floor to provide the full team the best chance for success in the game, match and or tournament. This “best team” will not always be the best players. Playing time is earned based on skills, effort and game knowledge. Playing time is not equal nor can be measured among team members. A players “role” on the team is not written in stone and each player can excel in different skills and positions during the season therefore roles can change, again with team's best interest in mind.
MINI CLUB
Mini club is a condensed club season from August to October aimed to introduce and develop up-and-coming players to the sport of volleyball. Mini club includes practices to develop players' volleyball skills and one-day tournaments allowing players to showcase their learnings.
Mini Club is for girls ages 8-12. Players will be placed onto a team by age and ability. Practices will be scheduled twice a week for 90 minutes - SUN + THUR @ Beaches Chapel School. Teams will be entered into 3 local tournaments: Sept 9, Sept 23, and Oct 21. As Mini Club is expected to be a growth experience we put more emphasis on getting ALL players game time with the aim to build a stronger bench for the "Big" club season.
Season dues are $500 and is all-inclusive covering 2023-2024 AAU registration, uniform shirt, coaching fees, gym rental fees.
